Every year from March 1-19, thousands of people from all over Spain and the world come to celebrate Las Fallas in commemoration of Saint Joseph. Artists will spend a whole year preparing their Masclet脿, and 400 will be displayed around the city, ranging in size dramatically. On March 19, 2025, Alison Scruggs had the opportunity to join her friends from Spain and the hundreds of thousands of people present for La Crema, where they lit the Masclet脿 on fire and watched it burn in all it's glory.
