Robinson Nature Center

Over spring break, I visited the Robinson Nature Center in Columbia, Maryland. The center is surrounded by scenic nature trails lined with native plants and thoughtfully designed rain gardens that showcase the local ecology. One of the trails leads to the Middle Patuxent River and the historic Simpsonville Mill, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the area's rich history. The nature center also provides access to a variety of landscapes, including forested areas, wetlands, and open meadowlands. Each trail is both educational and accessible, with informative signs along the way that explain the surrounding ecosystems.
