Gibraltar
The Rock of Gibraltar is a dramatic and iconic limestone promontory located at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It rises sharply to a height of 426 meters (1,398 feet) and overlooks the Strait of Gibraltar, the narrow waterway that separates Europe and Africa and connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea.
