Pai is about two hours from Chiang Mai鈥攐r three if, like us, you decide to take mopeds (highly adventurous, mildly questionable). This tiny mountain village is surrounded by waterfalls, hot springs, and national parks鈥攂asically an outdoor lover鈥檚 dream.聽But honestly, the drive is the real star of the show. Winding through lush, green mountains with jaw-dropping views at every turn? Unbeatable.聽That said... there are a lot of hills. And let鈥檚 just say mopeds might not be built for that kind of terrain. Mine broke down halfway home and had to be abandoned at a gas station. Luckily, the local people were incredibly kind and did their best to help.

Definitely a trip to remember鈥攁nd a killer story for later.
