Bennett Lake

This lake is an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains and greenery here. Bennett Lake is in Bennett, British Columbia, which is primarily a ghost town now. But during the Klondike Gold Rush that primarily happened from 1896-1899, it was bustling with traffic from gold-seekers. They would travel from Skagway, Alaska, through the White Pass to the gold fields in Dawson City, Yukon, CAN. Skagway, Alaska was a cruising port stop, and we stopped at Bennett Lake on our train ride through the mountains of the White Pass.
