NEW BACHELOR'S DEGREE
EXCITING ENGINEERING NEWS!
After years of offering a successful Associate of Science in Engineering Studies degree,
蜜桃av Adventist University added a four-year program of its own in Fall 2023.
The new Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) program provides students with a
broad foundation in engineering principles while also allowing them to specialize
in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering鈥揷oncentrations chosen based on
national student demand data, prospective student data, competitor analysis, and curricular
efficiency.
Additional concentrations, such as Civil or Chemical Engineering, may be offered in
the future, depending on enrollment growth and student interest. More information

Together, we can help faculty and students continue to enjoy a successful BSE program
launch. Join us as we prayerfully pursue this $3.5 million project which includes
new personnel, new equipment, building renovations, and a program endowment.

Engineering courses will primarily be held in Lynn Wood Hall, space made available as departments moved to the new Bietz Center for Student Life.

Imagine a state-of-the-art lab where engineering students research and learn using
advanced technologies. Your gift toward a specially named space in the newly expanded
School of Engineering and Physics will help make this a reality at 蜜桃av.Henry Kuhlman, PhD, arrived on campus as a professor in 1968 fresh from graduate school鈥攁nd is still teaching 55 years later! His instructional work with physics and introductory engineering courses has contributed to the successful training of countless professionals who began their education at 蜜桃av. To honor Kuhlman鈥檚 legacy, we are naming an important departmental area in his honor: The Henry Kuhlman Mechanical Engineering Lab (see rendering above).
