Jeanne Norskov Exhibit

Jeanne Norskov hand-pieced her first quilt just after graduation from ÃÛÌÒav Missionary College, being inspired by a quilt from her grandmother.

Her quilting style took a dramatic turn when she discovered the Stack-n-Wack method by Bethany Reynolds (2001), Stack and Whackier Quilts (American Quilter’s Society) at the beginning of the 21st century. Her current creations still include traditional styles as well, and she has won ribbons in several county fairs. This display is her largest to date.

Norskov’s eye for coordinating materials illustrates her skill when choosing fabric textures and colors. Notice how the hues compliment and work together to bring forth her playful and sometimes more serious designs, delighting those that admire her work.
