- Handicap Access
McKee Library is accessible via ramps located on the north and south entrances (35" doors). Handicap-accessible door opening buttons are located at both entrances, as well as the door leading to the library's main floor. The elevator is located toward the back of the library near the restrooms. Handicap accessible bathroom stalls are available on every floor of the library.
- Headphones
All patrons may check out headphones in exchange for ID while in the library.
- IPads, Tablets, & Equipment
McKee Library has iPads, Microsoft Surface Tablets, hand recorders, calculators, headphones, and connectors available to check out at the circulation desk.
- Information Literacy Instruction
McKee Library offers a variety of information literacy sessions and writing presentations available upon request. Your session can be conducted in person or online. While most sessions are conducted during class time, arrangements can be made for alternative times.

McKee Library's instruction team is pleased to offer web-based, self-paced information literacy modules, which can be easily integrated into eClass.

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service of McKee Library for the students, faculty, and staff of ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University. It affords access to research materials that are not owned locally or accessible through the Library’s online collection.

ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University's ID cards serve as the library card for current students, faculty, and staff. The library offers membership to individuals living within a 30-mile radius of ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University for a fee of $50.00.

McKee Library provides access to print and digital newspapers in our periodicals department.
McKee Library proudly supports the use of open educational resources (OER) in higher learning. In an effort to encourage the adoption of OER on campus, the library is offering a $250 stipend per year for two ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University professors who are willing to transition from traditional textbook resources to OER.

EBSCO Open Education (formerly known as Faculty Select) is a customized site that leverages the technology of the EBSCO Discovery Service platform, which enables faculty to find and access open educational resource (OER) content, as well as find and request unlimited user DRM-Free eBooks from their library.

McKee Library provides ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University students, faculty, and staff access to Libby (by Overdrive). Access is available on the Overdrive website or through the Libby app. Libby includes thousands of titles, including eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines.
- Periodicals
McKee Library's periodicals department is located on the library's main floor. We offer a wide array of print materials and digital content, including newspapers, journals, and magazines.
- Permanent Exhibits
McKee Library has four permanent exhibits available for viewing.
- Photocopies
Photocopies can be made on the library's main floor using the periodicals area machine and the second floor machine. Photocopies are 10 cents per page for black and white, and 20 cents per page for color and legal size.

PowerNotes is an easy-to-use research and note-taking program that enables you to highlight, annotate, and save texts, organize materials, and export projects.
- Printing
Three printer stations are available on the main floor of the library. Printing and scanning is free for students. Printing and copying fees apply for community library patrons and visitors. All library users are limited to 50 pages per day for printing, scanning, and copying.
- Quiet Study
The second floor of the library is the quiet floor and is restricted to independent study only.
- Ray Hefferlin Collection
Collection comprised of physics-related materials collected by Ray Hefferlin, PhD.
- Reading Room
McKee Library’s reading room is on the east side of the second floor. This space is designed for quiet, independent study and reading.

ÃÛÌÒav students, faculty, and staff may receive free research assistance for any assignment or project with a highly-trained research librarian. In-person and virtual appointments are available.
McKee Library provides subject-specific research guides and how-to tutorials for all academic areas.

- SDA Heritage and Apocalyptic Studies Collection
Books on Adventist heritage, especially about the study of Daniel and Revelation.
- SPSS
SPSS is a statistic software package used for interactive statistical analysis. All library stations have SPSS installed.
- Scanning
Library patrons may use the scanner to scan documents as a PDF to their ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University email for free using the periodicals area machine located on the library's main floor.
- Scholarship
The Marge Seifert Scholarship aids McKee Library's student workers with tuition costs.
McKee Library offers a variety of hands-on scientific models, including human anatomy models and molecular sets, available for in-library usage.

McKee Library coordinates with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and Therapy Dogs International to provide frequent therapy dog visits throughout the academic year.

- User Rights & Responsibilities
McKee Library welcomes all users, including ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University students, faculty, staff, and alumni as well as community guests. The library supports research, learning, and teaching through a variety of resources, services, spaces, and collections. All users are expected for follow the ÃÛÌÒav Adventist University Code of Conduct, as found in the university handbook.
- Virtual Reality Headsets
McKee Library has two virtual reality (VR) headsets available to check out at the circulation desk. These headsets are equipped with multiple games, including Beat Saber, YouTube VR, and Mission: ISS, allowing for an immersive virtual reality experience.
