Construction Management
The BT program in construction management allows students to specialize in commercial, heavy, residential, and specialty construction and facility management. Students learn to organize, lead, and manage the business processes of building construction related to real-estate, facility, and infrastructure projects, all founded in Christian values.
Construction managers represent the interests of the building owner or the contractor
and interact with architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to
ensure the success of the construction projects in the built environment. This program
focuses on the business of construction and technology, such as building information
modeling.
Once you've completed your bachelor's or associate degree, you'll be ready to sit
for the following licensure tests:
- General contractor
- Electrical contractor
- Plumbing contractor
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, construction jobs are expected to grow 4 percent between 2019 and 2029.
