Construction

The BT program in construction management allows students to specialize in commercial, heavy, residential, and specialty construction and facility management. Students learn to organize, lead, and manage the business processes of building construction related to real-estate, facility, and infrastructure projects, all founded in Christian values.

Construction managers represent the interests of the building owner or the contractor and interact with architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the success of the construction projects in the built environment. This program focuses on the business of construction and technology, such as building information modeling.

During your first year, you'll help construct a real home. You'll be involved with the foundation, framing, wiring, plumbing, and more. By your second year, you'll be combining this practical experience with business and management coursework.

Construction Management program offerings include a Bachelor of Science degree, an Associate of Technology degree, a minor, and a certificate program.

Once you've completed your bachelor's or associate degree, you'll be ready to sit for the following licensure tests:

  • General contractor
  • Electrical contractor
  • Plumbing contractor

Autmotive

The BT program in automotive management allows students to learn to organize, lead, and manage the business processes of engines, axels, welding, and automotive sales all founded in Christian values.

A unique part of ÃÛÌÒav's auto program is that students receive hands-on laboratory experience in our full-service auto shop that repairs cars for the community. In addition, during the last semester of the program, students spend eight to 10 hours a week working in a local shop as a practicum. Students learn what makes automobiles and their systems work, how and why they fail, and how to use tools and equipment to diagnose and repair the defects quickly and effectively.

Construction Management program offerings include a Bachelor of Science degree, an Associate of Technology degree, a minor, and a certificate program.

All of our students have the opportunity to take ASE tests to become ASE Certified an industry-wide certification of excellence.
